Meryl Doran manages the Old Stables. Meryl has considerable experience working with all types of horses.  Meryl currently competes at affiliated dressage with her two horses. She is a British Dressage Group 2 rider and is competing up to FEI Intermediate 1.

Meryl is working towards Grand Prix with her horse Ottono (2001). She bought him as a yearling and trained him herself to Intermediate 1 level. Meryl’s homebred gelding Memphis (2009) has just started his affiliated dressage career and competing at Novice level.

The training of “non-traditional” dressage horses is a particular interest of Meryl and she has experience with a variety of shapes and sizes!
